AUTUMN COLOURS - JAPAN

Workshop 10-20 October, 2023

Autumn is truly a spectacular time to photograph in Japan when the maples trees turn fiery red and brilliant yellow and provide perfect reflections in mirror like lakes.

Not only will you capture stunning autumnal landscapes but you will also marvel at the architecture in the form of temples, shrines and bridges and witness the contrast between traditional and modern Japan

Then there is the unforgettable sight of the magnificent Mount Fuji reflecting in Lake Kawaguchiko at sunrise and also with the red Chureito Pagoda in the foreground.

Did I mention snow monkeys? You will need a longer lens to capture these fascinating animals at their best lounging in the hot pools near Nagano.

It’s an action packed 11 day itinerary which starts and finishes at Osaka and takes in the beauty of the Nagano Prefecture, Mount Fuji and Kyoto.

You will be guided to the best places in Nagano by a noted resident Aussie photographer Anthony Ginman who has recorded some magnificent photography of his adopted country and speaks the native language fluently.
