Master your camera and learn the fundamentals of photography on a 2 Day Photography Workshop with international award-winning photographer Jarrod Castaing & John Armytage.
Whether you’re new to photography, or dusting off an old one, bring your camera and join us for a 2 day course learning the fundamentals of photography. Suitable for all levels from complete beginners to intermediate amateurs, no previous experience is needed.
This workshop will show you how to use your camera and work with natural lighting. The class will cover a range of topics from camera settings to composition and exposure in a practical way. You'll also learn the technical aspects from aperture and shutter speed to focal length and camera modes. If you’ve just purchased a new camera or just love taking photos this is the ideal introductory workshop.
This is a hands-on class, so you'll have plenty of time to practise your skills in the field each day whether it’s capturing sunrise on the coast or sunset in the sand dunes at Port Stephens, located just 2 hrs from Sydney. Group sizes are kept small so each participant has the chance to interact with the instructors.

Mastering Landscapes
Master landscape photography on an intense 2 Day Photography Workshop with international award-winning Australian photographer Jarrod Castaing & John Armytage.
Join us in the field as we take you through our approach to landscape photography from start to finish. We share our entire workflow from planning and preparation to in-field tricks and techniques for all situations including seascapes, mountains, waterfalls and more.
Having shot in over 50 counties, we’ll share with you the gear you need, and the gear you don’t, along with which ND filters are important and how to use them. Just honest practical tips and advice. This workshop is suited for intermediate photographers that are comfortable with their cameras or have completed our Learn Fundamentals Course.
Ever taken a bad photo in a great location? This Landscape Masterclass will cover a range of topics from finding the right location and composition to capturing difficult lighting situations in a practical way. If you enjoy capturing the beauty of nature or want to pursue a career in photography, this is a great class to break into the creative industry.
